Chantilly, VA – August 25, 2008 – Apptis, Inc., a leading provider of IT and communications services to the federal marketplace, announced today that the company has appointed Paul Mamalian as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary. In this role, Mamalian is responsible for all legal functions including, corporate transactions, financing, corporate governance, securities, contracts, and employment issues. Mamalian will also serve as Secretary to the Board of Directors.  He will report directly to Bert Notini, Chairman and CEO of Apptis.

Prior to joining Apptis, Mamalian was General Counsel and Secretary for Choice Hotels International (NYSE:CHH). Other key experience includes working at two international law firms, Pillsbury Winthrop and Reed Smith, where Mamalian focused on transactions for leading technology companies. Mamalian is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and received his undergraduate and law degrees from The George Washington University.
